The 2020 Asia Cup Qualifier will be the tournament played as part of qualification process for the 2020 Asia Cup. Two regional qualifiers are scheduled to be held by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), with 16 teams competing across the Eastern region and Western Regions. This will be followed by the Final Qualifier in Malaysia in August 2020.
The Western sub-region qualifier will be held by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) in February 2020 and the Eastern sub-region qualifier will take place in Thailand March 2020. The top two teams from each regional tournament will advance to the final qualifier tournament, which will determine the sixth team to take part in the 2020 Asia Cup. All the matches in the will be played as Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
